The game gave me all.

I missed a bunch of shots in my life. I lost the final possession and the opposite team scored and got the win. I threw the ball out of bounds when I only had to pass it to the teammate who was alone. I stole the ball in the right moment. I gave the ball to a teammate who was alone, and he scored the final shot for the win. I scored a three-point buzzer-beater, getting the win for my team. I cried when I lost. I cried when I won. I sprained my ankle too many times, as much as I can't remember how many. I made friends during games. I was hated by the guy who was defending me. I had a change to play in a great team and play a national championship, and I said no. I hate the guy I was defending. I was blocked during the games, even three times in the same game. I was in a poster when a guy dunked over me. I knew incredible teammates. I knew gorgeous opponents. I pushed my defender away of me to get the position. I was pushed away to get the position by the guy I was defending. I almost got charges in every match I have played. I didn't have scored in all the games I've played. I was able to get to win for my team. I wasn't able to get the win for my team. Death took away a friend of mine. I will never miss the time we spent together. I will never forget any tear, any smile, any laugh during the game, during the travels, during the dinners together, during the trainings. I'm not the rookie any longer. I'm just like them. You know why? Because I love this game and it's part of my life.

Is everything a gift or not?

You don't deserve the air you breath. You don't deserve the food you eat. You don't deserve the clothes you wear. You don't deserve your friends. You don't deserve your job. You don't deserve your family. And do you know why? Because you are a looser. You'll never deserve what you get. You get it free, but you have never done anything to demonstrate you deserve it. You are just doing nothing, looking what the other ones do, trying to avoid your duties and trying to concentrate the attention on you. You will never be a greatest one until you show me and all the world that anyone gave it to you without deserving it. It's your duty, so do it.

Dream up!

It's two o'clock. It's time to sleep. It's time to dream. It's time to enjoy our deepest fantasies. I never imagined the dreams were more than that, more than dreams, but it's time to make the dreams come true. But, the first of all, I have to dream and, after that, I'll have time to do that.
